Product Information

Full details

Doodle's Deli Air-Dried Green Lipped Mussels are an ideal treat for dog owners looking to supplement their pet's diet with a natural, single-ingredient source of essential nutrients. These high-protein snacks are specifically beneficial for supporting long-term joint health and improving coat condition, making them a great choice for active dogs or seniors. While they offer excellent health benefits, owners should be mindful that because they are a natural, air-dried product, the size and shape of the mussels can vary between bags, and they should always be fed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

FAQs

Can I give these to my puppy?

Yes, they are suitable for all life stages, but ensure your puppy is old enough to chew hard textures and always supervise them.

How many mussels should I feed per day?

Treats should not exceed 10% of your dog's daily caloric intake. Refer to your veterinarian for specific guidance based on your dog's size.

Do these need to be refrigerated?

No, they are shelf-stable. Keep them in a cool, dry place.

Are there any fillers or grains in these treats?

No, these are 100% green lipped mussels with no added grains, fillers, or preservatives.

Will these help with my dog's arthritis?

The omega fatty acids in mussels are known to support joint health, which can aid mobility, though they are not a substitute for veterinary arthritis treatment.

Troubleshooting

Dog is hesitant to eat the mussel

Try breaking the mussel into smaller pieces or crumbling it over their regular meal to introduce the flavor gradually.

Treats feel soft rather than crunchy

The product may have absorbed moisture from the air. Ensure the bag is sealed tight or store in a moisture-proof container.
