Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, first measure the vertical height of your cladding run and trim the aluminum H section to size using a fine-tooth hacksaw. Secure the base section to your vertical battening using appropriate exterior-grade screws. Ensure the base is perfectly plumb, as this dictates the straightness of your cladding row. Once the cladding boards are secured into the base channel, apply gentle, even pressure to the top cap until it 'snaps' into the locked position. To maintain the finish, simply clean with a soft cloth and mild soapy water as needed; avoid abrasive scouring pads that could scratch the RAL 1019M coating. Ensure the trim remains clear of debris to prevent water traps.
