The T-Cut 5 Inch Medium Polishing Pad is the ideal solution for car enthusiasts and DIY detailers looking to restore paintwork clarity and remove surface imperfections. Specifically engineered to work with T-Cut compounds, this pad provides a balanced cut that eliminates holograms and light scratches with ease. While it excels at delivering a professional finish on most automotive paint surfaces, users should note that it is intended for use with dual-action polishers and is not suitable for hand-polishing applications requiring aggressive heavy-duty compounding.

These pads are specifically designed for use with dual-action polishing machines to achieve an even finish. Hand polishing is not recommended.
They are safe for most factory clear coats, but always perform a test spot in an inconspicuous area before proceeding to the whole vehicle.
Replace the pad if the foam becomes thin, loses its elasticity, or shows signs of tearing on the surface.
While the medium cut is for polishing, these can be used for light cleaning, but it is better to use a dedicated soft finishing pad for wax application.
This package includes three T-Cut 5-inch medium polishing pads.
Rinse with warm water and mild soap, then air dry completely before the next use.
Ensure the pad is perfectly centered on the backing plate and that the backing plate is securely attached to the machine.
You are likely using too much product. Use smaller pea-sized drops and clean the pad with a brush or microfiber towel periodically.
This indicates the pad has been overheated or used against sharp edges. Replace the pad to avoid scratching the paint surface.
To set up, center the hook-and-loop backing of the T-Cut pad onto the backing plate of your dual-action machine. Ensure the edges are aligned to prevent vibration. For long-term care, wash the pads after each session using warm water and a dedicated foam pad cleaner or a mild soap. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear and let them air dry completely in a dust-free environment. Never store pads while they are damp, as this can lead to material degradation.
