Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, iron the tissue pattern pieces on a low, dry setting to remove creases. It is recommended to trace the desired size onto pattern tracing paper rather than cutting directly into the original tissue, as this allows you to preserve the other sizes for future projects. Ensure you have the necessary notions listed on the envelope, such as thread, zippers, or buttons, before beginning your fabric cut. When storing, keep the pattern in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the tissue paper from becoming brittle. If you choose to iron the finished garments, follow the fabric-specific heat settings to avoid damaging the seams.
