The Milwaukee M18 FMDP-502C is an 18V cordless magnetic drill with a powerful brushless POWERSTATE™ motor, providing corded drilling performance with the strongest magnet holding force on ¼″ steel and 40 x 18 mm holes per battery charge. The REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence system delivers advanced digital overload protection for the tool and battery, uniquely enhancing tool performance under load. The REDLITHIUM™ battery pack offers superior construction, electronics, and fade-free performance for more run time and work over the pack's life. Key features include AUTOSTOP™ lift-off detection which senses excess rotation and automatically cuts power to the drill for enhanced user protection. The self-powered permanent magnet provides 8,890 N of holding force, preventing accidental magnet deactivation for improved user protection and easy alignment. It has a 2-speed gearbox for optimized drilling speeds of 400 and 690 rpm when using annual cutters or twist drill bits. The maximum drilling capacity is 38 mm with annual cutters and 13 mm with straight shank twist drill bits. It features a keyless 19 mm Weldon reception for fast and easy accessory changes. An on-board magnet lubrication tank can be attached to the machine or material, especially for vertical drilling. The drill has a 146 mm stroke length for using various accessories and a tool-free detachable handle for right or left-hand use. An on-board LED light illuminates the work surface. The flexible battery system is compatible with all MILWAUKEE® M18™ batteries. Included with the M18FMDP-502C are 2 x M18 B5 Battery packs, an M12-18 FC Charger, and a Kitbox.
