Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maintain the integrity of the garment, always check the interior fabric care label before cleaning. Due to the pleated construction, machine washing is generally discouraged to prevent the loss of the pleat structure. Steam gently from a distance if the fabric becomes wrinkled rather than using a standard flat iron, which can crush the pleats. For storage, use a skirt hanger with clips that grip the waistband, ensuring the garment hangs vertically to prevent unsightly creases. It pairs best with slim-fitting tops, such as bodysuits or lightweight knits, to balance the volume of the pleated lower half.
