Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation of the RAK Ceramics Feeling Shower Tray requires careful attention due to its slim profile. It is recommended to prepare a level and solid base using appropriate building materials (e.g., screed or a dedicated shower tray support system). Ensure the waste outlet is correctly positioned and connected to the plumbing system before setting the tray. For level-access installations, the subfloor must be prepared to accommodate the tray's height and waste.
Compatibility:
This shower tray is designed to be compatible with most standard shower enclosures and shower doors. The 1200mm x 800mm dimensions should be verified against the intended enclosure size. The fast-flow waste is designed to fit standard UK waste pipe sizes, but it's advisable to confirm compatibility with your chosen shower waste trap and plumbing.
Care:
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your RAK Feeling shower tray, clean it regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaning agents. Avoid using harsh chemicals, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the matt textured finish. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots. For the RAKSOLID material, specific cleaning recommendations from RAK Ceramics should be consulted.
