This 1/10 scale Tamiya radio control assembly kit, model 47367, features the Manta Ray from 2018. Originally released in 1990, the Manta Ray gained popularity as a beginner-friendly off-road buggy and an easily upgradeable car for experienced radio control enthusiasts. Its body design is inspired by the sleek, curved shape of Manta Rays and is constructed from lightweight, durable polycarbonate. The car achieves downforce through a large rear wing, and traction is enhanced by all-terrain spike tires mounted on dish wheels for superior handling across various surfaces. The radio components, including the battery and R/C mechanisms, are centrally located within the honeycomb bathtub frame for optimal weight distribution. The car's bathtub chassis is paired with a 4-wheel double wishbone suspension system.
