Troubleshooting
Clock is not ticking
Ensure a new AA battery is correctly inserted. Check that the clock hands are not touching each other or the clock face, which can impede movement.
Paint or finish is uneven
Apply thin, even coats of paint or stain. Allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next. Sand lightly between coats if necessary for a smoother finish.
Decoration is chipping or peeling
Ensure the wood surface was clean and dry before decorating. Apply a suitable sealant or varnish over the decoration for added durability, especially if the clock will be in a high-traffic area.
Clock hands are loose
Refer to the clock mechanism's instructions for re-securing the hands. Ensure they are properly fitted onto their respective posts.
