FAQs

What type of cookware is needed for the induction hob?

You need cookware with a magnetic base. Test if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the pan; if it does, it's suitable for induction.

How do the catalytic liners work?

The catalytic liners are special porous enamel panels that absorb grease and food splatters during cooking. At high temperatures, they break down the residue, making cleaning easier. They are typically found in the main oven.

What is the benefit of the Handyrack?

The Handyrack attaches to the inside of the main oven door and holds your roasting tray, allowing you to easily slide the rack in and out for basting or checking your roast without fully removing it.

Can I use both ovens at the same time?

Yes, the Estel Deluxe features two main ovens (multifunction and fan) plus a separate grill, allowing you to use them simultaneously for various cooking tasks.

What is the energy efficiency rating?

This range cooker has an energy efficiency rating of A for both its main and secondary ovens.

What are the dimensions of the cooker?

The cooker measures 994mm in width, 654mm in depth, and 895mm in height (excluding handles).

What is the warranty period?

The Rangemaster Estel Deluxe comes with a 2-year warranty covering both parts and labour.

Troubleshooting

Induction hob not heating

Ensure the correct cookware is being used (magnetic base). Check that the hob is switched on and no child lock is active. Verify the circuit breaker has not tripped.

Oven not reaching temperature

Confirm the correct oven function and temperature have been selected. Check for any obstructions around the oven fan. Ensure the oven door is properly closed.

Display is not working

Check the main power supply to the cooker. Try resetting the cooker by turning off the power at the mains for a few minutes and then turning it back on.

Uneven cooking results

Ensure cookware is centered on induction zones and oven shelves are correctly positioned. Avoid overcrowding the oven. Rotate dishes halfway through cooking if necessary.

Grill not working effectively

Ensure the grill pan is correctly inserted. Check that the correct grill function (full/half) is selected and the temperature is set appropriately. Verify the grill element is clean.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Offers significant cooking capacity with dual 79L ovens and a separate grill.
Induction hob provides precise control, speed, and energy efficiency.
Catalytic liners in the main oven simplify cleaning.
Striking and unique Pale Pink and Antique Brass aesthetic makes a statement.
Includes a convenient Handyrack for easier roast handling.
Versatile cooking functions across multiple cavities.

Cons

Requires a 100cm width space, making it unsuitable for smaller kitchens.
As an electric range cooker, it has a high connected load of 15660W.
Requires a specific electrical installation (minimum 32A current).
The specialist Handyrack might require careful initial setup.
While liners help, the grill and secondary oven will still require manual cleaning.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: This range cooker requires a dedicated electrical connection and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Ensure your kitchen has adequate ventilation, especially when using the grill or main oven for extended periods. The cooker is designed to fit into a standard 100cm-wide kitchen gap.

Compatibility: The induction hob is compatible with most magnetic cookware (ferrous base). Use cookware with a flat base for optimal heat transfer. The ovens and grill are electric.

Care: For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild detergent. The catalytic liners in the main oven absorb grease, but occasional cleaning may be needed. Wipe down the hob surface after each use once it has cooled. The Handyrack and oven shelves should be cleaned manually. Refer to the user manual for detailed cleaning instructions for specific components and oven functions. Ensure the appliance is cool and unplugged before cleaning.
