Yes, the sliding physical shutter covers the lens entirely to provide a secure visual barrier when the camera is not in use.
Use the built-in Asus battery management software to cap the charge if you keep the device plugged in most of the time, which helps prevent overcharging.
Check your available storage space. If the 128 GB SSD is nearly full, remove unnecessary files or move media to external storage.
Ensure your router supports Wi-Fi 6/6E. Update the network adapter drivers via the Device Manager in Windows.
Check the power adapter connection and ensure you are using the original cable. Verify if 'Battery Health Charging' settings in the MyAsus app are limiting charge to preserve life.
When you first unbox your Asus Vivo, ensure it is plugged into a power source to initiate the initial Windows configuration. Keep the software updated through the Windows Update menu to ensure driver compatibility. To protect the display, use only a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to clean the screen and avoid using harsh chemicals. Since the laptop uses a 128 GB SSD, try to offload large media files to an external SSD or cloud storage services to maintain optimal system speed. Ensure the ventilation areas at the bottom and sides remain unobstructed to prevent overheating during intensive tasks.
