The Rothley Twin Slot Shelving Kit is designed for homeowners and professionals looking to maximize storage efficiency in workshops, garages, or living spaces without compromising on aesthetics. Its primary benefit is the exceptional modularity provided by the twin-slot design, allowing users to reconfigure shelf heights on demand to accommodate items of varying sizes. While the kit provides a robust 50kg per shelf weight capacity, users should note that mounting hardware for the wall is not included, requiring specific fasteners based on your wall material.

No, this kit includes the 2 uprights and 6 brackets only. You must purchase the shelf boards separately.
The system is British Standard tested to support up to 50kg per shelf, provided it is installed correctly into a solid wall.
While the finish is decorative, it is best suited for dry living or storage areas. Avoid direct, prolonged water exposure to prevent corrosion.
This depends on your wall. Use masonry bolts for brick/concrete or heavy-duty hollow wall anchors for plasterboard walls.
Yes, standard twin-slot brackets are generally compatible with this upright system if you need to add more shelves.
Ensure the bracket is inserted at the correct upward angle and that the upright is not mounted too tightly to the wall, which can warp the metal.
Check that both uprights are perfectly level and that all bracket hooks are fully engaged in the corresponding slots.
Wipe with a soft, microfiber cloth. If necessary, use a mild soap solution and dry immediately, avoiding abrasive scrubbers.
To install, start by determining the desired width of your shelving and marking the wall for the two uprights. Use a spirit level to ensure both are perfectly vertical before drilling. Because the kit does not include wall fixings, choose heavy-duty wall plugs and screws appropriate for your specific wall type (brick, stud, or concrete). Once the uprights are secured, insert the brackets into the desired slots at an upward angle and press down to lock. Clean the copper finish regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent tarnishing; avoid harsh chemical cleaners which may strip the antique coating.
