FAQs

Does this duvet require a cover?

No, it is specifically designed to be used without a cover.

Is the duvet suitable for all-year use?

The 4.5 Tog version is lightweight and breathable, ideal for summer or warmer indoor environments.

Are the pillowcases included?

Yes, every set includes matching pillowcases for a complete look.

How much of my purchase goes to Chester Zoo?

10% of every purchase is donated to support Chester Zoo's vital conservation efforts.

What is Smartfil fibre?

Smartfil is an eco-friendly filling material made from 100% recycled materials that provides lightweight, breathable, and durable insulation.

Troubleshooting

Duvet feels damp after a standard drying cycle.

The Smartfil fibres are efficient, but because the duvet is thicker than a standard sheet, ensure you are using a low-heat tumble setting or allow it to air-dry for a few extra hours to ensure complete moisture removal.

Duvet does not fit inside my washing machine.

If your home machine is too small, take the duvet to a local laundromat with a larger commercial drum capacity to ensure the fabric and fill are cleaned thoroughly without damaging the machine or the product.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No struggling with duvet covers
Eco-friendly recycled fill materials
Easy to wash and quick to dry
Supports wildlife conservation efforts
Includes matching pillowcases

Cons

Must wash the entire duvet instead of just a cover
Requires a machine with enough capacity for a full duvet
Design aesthetic is specific to the Jungle Dreams print

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the duvet is straightforward: simply unfold it from the provided duffle bag and place it directly on the bed. Because there is no cover to align, it is ready for use immediately. For care, ensure your washing machine has the appropriate weight capacity to handle a full duvet. We recommend washing on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. The fast-drying fibres allow for air-drying or low-heat tumble drying, though you should check the product care label for specific temperature guidelines to maintain the loft of the Smartfil filling.
