The Xcel Home Portable Travel Douche Set is designed for travelers and homeowners seeking a portable, efficient personal hygiene solution that integrates seamlessly with existing fixtures. It provides a significant benefit for maintaining cleanliness on the go or in bathrooms where a permanent bidet installation is not feasible, though users should be mindful that it requires manual valve control to ensure long-term reliability.

The system requires a minimum of 0.2 bars, but 0.5 bars or higher is recommended for optimal performance.
It is compatible with most taps that feature a removable spout, but it will not work on fixed-spout faucets.
No, you should turn the main water valve off when the device is not in use to prevent leaks and protect the hose.
Installation is straightforward as it uses standard 1/2-inch IPS threads, requiring no complex plumbing skills.
The set features a durable solid brass valve, a flexible hose, and a high-grade spray head.
Ensure the washer is seated correctly and tighten the thread firmly; if it persists, use plumber's tape.
Check your home water pressure and ensure the faucet is fully open; verify the hose is not kinked.
Confirm that your faucet has a removable aerator or spout tip; you may require a separate adapter if the thread sizes differ.
Installation involves three primary steps: identifying a faucet with a removable spout, connecting the brass valve via the 1/2-inch thread, and securing the flexible hose. To care for your set, wipe down the spray head periodically to prevent mineral buildup from hard water. Never leave the system under constant pressure when not in use; always ensure the brass valve is closed to prevent leaks. Inspect the hose periodically for any signs of cracking or wear, especially after long periods of travel where the kit may be packed in luggage.
