Lancome Lash Idole Mascara - 01 Black - 9ml

The product description does not explicitly state that this mascara is waterproof. For specific waterproof options, please check for dedicated waterproof versions of Lancome mascaras.

We recommend using an oil-based eye makeup remover or a bi-phasic cleanser to gently dissolve the mascara without excessive rubbing, which can stress your lashes. Apply the remover to a cotton pad, press it onto your closed eyelid for a few seconds, then gently wipe downwards.

While generally formulated to be gentle, if you wear contact lenses, we recommend consulting your optometrist or performing a patch test. Many users with contact lenses find Lancome mascaras comfortable.

For optimal hygiene and performance, it is generally recommended to replace your mascara every three to six months after opening, or sooner if you notice a change in texture or smell.

For maximum volume, start by wiggling the mascara wand at the base of your lashes. This helps deposit the most product at the root, creating a fuller look. Then, sweep the brush upwards to the tips. You can apply a second coat for added intensity, ensuring the first coat is still slightly damp.

The Lancome Lash Idole Mascara is designed for a smooth, flawless finish and is formulated to resist flaking throughout the day. Proper application and ensuring your mascara is not expired will help prevent flaking.

Wipe any excess product off the brush before applying. Apply in thin coats, allowing each coat to dry slightly before adding another. If clumps persist, use a clean lash comb to separate lashes.

Ensure you are wiggling the brush right at the base of your lashes to maximize lift. Try using a lash curler before applying the mascara. Apply an extra coat, focusing on the tips for added length and volume.

Ensure your eyelids are free of oils or moisturizer before application. You may consider using a lash primer to create a smoother base and extend wear. If the issue persists, ensure the mascara isn't past its recommended shelf life.

Focus on sweeping the outer corner lashes outwards towards your temple and the inner corner lashes slightly inwards towards your nose, while ensuring the middle lashes are swept straight up. Use the tip of the brush for smaller, harder-to-reach lashes.
