Yes, standard map pins or decorative push pins will work, provided the shafts fit into the cork thickness.
No, you will need to provide your own hooks or screws suitable for your specific wall material.
The product is a physical cork-based map designed for pinning, not a paper print.
While stylish, please be aware it contains small, sharp metal pins that should be kept out of reach of small children.
Yes, the pins are metal and durable enough to be moved or reused multiple times as your travel plans change.
Apply steady, direct pressure. Ensure you are not attempting to insert pins into the wood frame border.
Verify that your mounting hardware is correctly tightened and level before hanging the frame.
Setting up the map is straightforward. If mounting to a wall, ensure you use appropriate hardware (not included) that matches your wall type (e.g., drywall anchors for plasterboard). To maintain the map's quality, keep it away from direct, high-intensity sunlight to prevent the cork from drying out or fading. If dust accumulates on the cork surface, lightly use a soft-bristled brush or a dry cloth to clear the debris. Avoid using liquid cleaners on the cork, as this can degrade the natural material over time.
