Full details
Grow something a little different with 'Strawberry Stick' plants! These unique plants feature edible, arrow-shaped leaves perfect for summer salads and produce fruit that resembles small raspberries or strawberries, offering a delightful autumn treat. Part of Suttons' FUN TO GROW range, this product provides a fun and engaging way for children to learn about seed germination and plant growth while cultivating their own vegetables. Ideal for party bags or Christmas stockings, it makes gardening exciting and accessible for kids, while promoting healthy eating and environmental awareness. Supplied as one seed packet with an average of 25 seeds. Sow from February to April. For best results, sow seeds in compost-filled trays or tubs with drainage holes, lightly cover with compost, and expect seedlings to appear in 7-13 days. Pot on seedlings into small pots and keep on a warm, well-lit windowsill, gradually acclimatizing them to outdoor conditions before planting out in a sunny spot or large pots from late May to June. Leaves can be picked for salads, and the fruit is best eaten fresh from late summer. Please note that images are for guidance only and results may vary based on growing conditions. Some images may also vary due to seasonality.
