The Walrus Audio Melee: Wall of Noise effects pedal harnesses and melds reverb and distortion for an eternity of ethereal power. This effects pedal unapologetically uses a joystick to meld reverb into one massive blaze of sound, with the flip of an order switch to alter the signal chain. It offers three distinct programs: Ambient (Pink LED), Octave Down (Yellow LED), and Reverse Feedback (Blue LED). Controls allow for adjustments to the mix by moving the joystick up and down or left and right. Tone and decay can be toggled through low, medium, and high settings. Modulation can be added to the wet signal by holding down the bypass switch. Position settings offer no modulation, slight modulation, or full modulation. The programs can be changed simultaneously by pressing the sustain and stomp switches. Experiment with the toggle to hear how differently these react in front of or after the distortion. Ambient mode provides huge, engulfing soundscapes, Octave Down offers an eerie lower octave trail for a dark, atmospheric touch, and Reverse Feedback creates gentle melodies or pushes reverse feedback into overload for a big, slow, sad sound. The pedal is coated in a glossy neon pink enclosure with white, yellow, and green inks. Its die-cast enclosure measures 3.62" x 4.79" x 3.14". It features three modes: DSP, DSP+True, and True Bypass. Power requirements are 9VDC with a center-negative connection (200mA minimum). An isolated power supply is recommended for powering the Walrus Audio Pedal; daisy-chaining supplies is not recommended.
