FAQs

Can I use this with other extension poles?

No, this mount is specifically designed for the GoPro 40in (1m) Carbon Fiber Extension Pole.

Does it fit all ski poles?

It fits ski poles with diameters ranging from 14mm to 22mm using the included set of spacers.

Will this add too much weight to my ski pole?

The mount is made of lightweight aluminum, which is designed to minimize impact on your swing weight while skiing.

Do I need tools to set this up?

No, the mount is designed for tool-free installation and removal.

Can I operate the mount with mittens or thick gloves?

Yes, the rubberized tightening knob is textured to provide grip and is large enough to operate while wearing heavy ski gloves.

What is the warranty period?

The product is backed by GoPro’s lifetime warranty.

Troubleshooting

The mount rotates or slips on the ski pole shaft.

Ensure you are using the correct size spacer. If the pole diameter is between two sizes, use the smaller spacer for a tighter friction fit.

Difficulty tightening the knob in freezing temperatures.

Ensure the threads of the knob are free of ice or packed snow before attempting to tighten.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Select the correct spacer: Measure your ski pole shaft diameter or test the provided spacers (14mm to 22mm) to find the one that offers the tightest fit.
Align the mount: Place the spacer around the ski pole and position the mount housing over it.
Tighten: Screw the rubberized knob clockwise until the mount is completely immobilized on the pole.
Attach the extension pole: Once the mount is secured to the ski pole, insert your GoPro 40in Carbon Fiber Extension Pole into the mount housing.

Care Instructions: After use in snow or wet conditions, wipe the mount down with a dry cloth to prevent moisture build-up. Periodically check the rubberized knob to ensure no ice or debris has collected in the threads.
