This RCD will remain switched on, once set, and will only trip when a hazardous earth fault occurs. If the unit loses supply - perhaps in a power cut - it will stay switched on, making it particularly useful in commercial applications, such as controlling refrigeration units, vending machines etc. This RCD Spur Connection Unit has a test button and a maximum load of 13a. It is mechanically latched, meaning there is no need to reset after power loss.
