Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure success, plant each bulb in a high-quality, well-draining potting mix. It is crucial to leave the top one-third of the bulb exposed above the soil surface to prevent moisture-related rot. Initially, provide very sparse water until you notice the green shoot starting to emerge. Once growth is visible, increase water frequency to maintain slightly moist soil. Keep the plants in a location with bright, indirect light to encourage healthy stem development. After the blooming season, you can continue to care for the foliage to store energy, allowing the bulb to potentially bloom again in future winters.
