Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, always pre-wash the fabric at 40 degrees before cutting, as cotton flannel is prone to minor shrinkage during the first wash. When cutting, use sharp pins or pattern weights to keep the fabric stable on your cutting mat, as the brushed surface can create slight friction. Use a standard universal needle (size 70/10 or 80/12) for the best stitch quality.
Care Instructions:
- Machine wash at 40 degrees Celsius.
- Use a cool to medium iron setting to avoid flattening the brushed texture.
- Avoid heavy tumble drying to preserve the integrity of the cotton fibers.
