FAQs
How much Eazymix Extratime do I use?
Use one 40g sachet of Eazymix Extratime for every 25Kg of finishing plaster.
Can I use Eazymix Extratime with any type of plaster?
No, it is specifically designed for use with finishing plasters.
How long does Eazymix Extratime extend the setting time?
It extends the setting time by 30-60 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature and humidity.
What happens if I use too much Eazymix Extratime?
Overuse can significantly delay the setting time, potentially making the plaster difficult to work with.
Is Eazymix Extratime safe to use?
Yes, when used according to the instructions. Always wear appropriate safety gear (gloves, eye protection) when mixing and applying plaster.
How should I store Eazymix Extratime?
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
What should I do if the plaster feels too soft after the extended setting time?
Ensure the plaster has fully dried before applying any further finishes. If the softness persists, the plaster may not have been mixed correctly or the environment may have been too humid.
Troubleshooting
Plaster is still setting too quickly.
Ensure you have used the correct amount of Eazymix Extratime. Check the ambient temperature and humidity, as these factors can affect the setting time. If necessary, slightly increase the amount of Extratime used, but do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Plaster takes too long to set.
Reduce the amount of Extratime used, and ensure you are working within the recommended temperature and humidity guidelines. In extremely humid conditions, the setting time may be naturally extended.
