Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the Orei HDS-102 is straightforward: connect your HDMI source (like a laptop or streaming box) to the 'Input' port, and connect your two displays to the 'Output 1' and 'Output 2' ports. Ensure all HDMI cables are firmly seated.
Regarding compatibility, the device operates best with standard HDMI 1.4a cabling. If you are using long cable runs, ensure the cables are of high quality to prevent signal degradation. To maintain the device, keep the ventilation area clear to prevent overheating and clean the casing with a dry, lint-free cloth. Always power down your connected displays before changing EDID switch settings to ensure a clean handshake.
