Product Information

Full details

The Oxford Motorcycle Solariser is designed for motorcycle and automotive enthusiasts who need to maintain their 12V batteries. The primary benefit is keeping your battery charged even when your vehicle is stored for extended periods. A key consideration is that while it works in most lighting conditions, it is not a primary charger and may not fully charge a severely depleted battery.

FAQs

How does the Oxford Solariser work?

It uses amorphous solar technology to convert daylight into electricity, which is then used to maintain your 12V automotive battery.

Does it need direct sunlight?

No, it works in most lighting conditions, requiring only daylight.

Can I use it on a car?

Yes, it is suitable for use on cars, motorcycles, and other 12V automotive batteries.

How do I connect the Solariser?

Connect the provided connectors to your battery terminals, ensuring the connections are secure. Then, place the solar panel in a well-lit area.

What if my battery is completely dead?

The Solariser is designed to maintain a battery, not to fully charge a dead one. You may need a separate charger to revive a completely discharged battery.

How do I clean the Solariser?

Clean the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth.

Is it waterproof?

While the Solariser is designed for outdoor use, ensure it is protected from extreme weather conditions.

What is the warranty?

Please refer to the product packaging or retailer for warranty details.

Troubleshooting

Battery not charging.

Ensure the Solariser is receiving sufficient daylight and that the connections are secure. Check the battery voltage with a multimeter.

Solariser not working.

Check the fuse and connections. Test the Solariser in a different location with more light.

Vehicle won't start.

The Solariser is a maintainer, not a charger. If the battery is severely discharged, it might need to be charged separately before it will start the vehicle.
