The Laneige Balance Mode Shine Control Weightless Moisturizer is designed for adults with combination to oily skin types seeking a lightweight solution to manage excess oil and refine pore appearance. Its core benefit lies in its ability to provide essential hydration without leaving a heavy or greasy residue, resulting in a balanced, matte, and healthy complexion. A notable caveat is that its ultra-light, fluid consistency may not provide sufficient deep hydration for those struggling with severe dryness or compromised moisture barriers in extreme climates.

While the formula is designed for balance, those with highly sensitive skin should perform a patch test on the inner arm before applying to the face.
Yes, this is a unisex product designed for any adult looking to manage shine and hydrate their skin without a heavy finish.
For best results, use it twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, after cleansing.
No, this moisturizer does not contain SPF. Always follow with a dedicated sunscreen during your morning routine.
The lightweight, non-greasy formula is suitable for oily skin, but it is not specifically marketed as an acne treatment. Consult a dermatologist if you have concerns regarding active breakouts.
Absolutely. It works well under makeup, primers, and sunscreens due to its weightless, non-sticky finish.
Ensure your previous skincare layer (like a serum) has fully absorbed before applying the moisturizer. Using too much product can also cause pilling; try reducing the amount applied.
Allow the moisturizer to settle for 60 seconds before applying makeup or sunscreen. If shine persists, you may be applying too much product for your specific skin needs.
To integrate this moisturizer into your routine, apply it as the final step of your morning skincare regimen, followed by sunscreen. In the evening, use it after cleansing to lock in hydration without clogging pores. The product is highly compatible with water-based serums and toners. Keep the bottle tightly capped and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the Rice-inamide and peptide complexes. Ensure your hands are clean before dispensing to avoid contamination of the product contents.
