Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Before the first use, wash the pot in warm, soapy water and dry it thoroughly. While it does not require seasoning, applying a light coating of oil to the rim can protect it if it is stored in a humid environment.
Compatibility: This pot is fully compatible with induction, gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen stovetops. It is also safe for use in ovens up to 260°C. Avoid using the pot in a microwave.
Care: To maintain the longevity of the enamel, use only wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to prevent scratching. Always allow the pot to cool down naturally before rinsing with water to prevent thermal shock, which can cause the enamel to crack. Hand wash with mild soap and avoid abrasive scouring pads.
