Specific FJW Joint Support by Dechra is a premium therapeutic wet food formulated for adult cats suffering from mobility issues and joint discomfort. It offers a comprehensive approach to joint health by combining high concentrations of anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acids with essential cartilage-supporting compounds like Glucosamine and Chondroitin, while simultaneously managing weight to reduce mechanical stress on joints; however, because it is a clinical diet, it should only be fed under the explicit guidance and supervision of a licensed veterinarian.

This diet is formulated for therapeutic use. Please discuss with your veterinarian if it is appropriate for your specific cat's needs.
Joint support diets are typically intended for long-term use, but duration should always be determined by your veterinarian based on the cat's clinical condition.
No, the formula is free from added artificial colours or flavourings.
You can, but ensure that the total daily caloric intake remains consistent with your veterinarian's weight loss plan.
This food contains pork, fish, and rice. If your cat has a known allergy to these specific proteins, please consult your vet before use.
Try warming the food slightly to enhance the aroma or mix it with a small amount of warm water; ensure the transition period was long enough.
Re-evaluate the daily portion size with your veterinarian to ensure you are not overfeeding based on your cat's current activity level.
Transitioning your cat to Specific FJW Joint Support should be done gradually over 7 to 10 days to avoid digestive upset; slowly mix increasing portions of the new food with their previous diet. Always ensure that fresh, clean water is available at all times. Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, any remaining portion should be covered and kept refrigerated for no longer than 48 hours. Consult your veterinarian regularly to monitor your cat's weight and adjust daily feeding portions as necessary to ensure effective weight management.
