The Sloomy Kansas Divan Bed is an ideal choice for those seeking a blend of structural stability and refined aesthetic appeal in their bedroom furniture. Designed for users who prioritize a consistent, firm foundation for their mattress, this handcrafted UK-made set includes a striking 54-inch floor-standing headboard that acts as a focal point. While the bed offers excellent durability and floor-friendly design features, users should note that as a platform-top divan, it provides a firmer feel compared to traditional sprung bases, which may influence your choice of mattress.

Check that all headboard bolts are tightened securely to the base mounting points.
Ensure all chrome gliders are free of debris and that the bed is not locked against an obstruction.
Setting up the Sloomy Kansas Divan is straightforward. The base modules connect using the included pre-fitted metal clips, which ensures the two halves of the base remain securely aligned. When attaching the 54-inch headboard, ensure you align the provided fixings with the pre-drilled holes in the base structure. For maintenance, keep the fabric clean by vacuuming regularly with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. If you spill liquids, blot gently with a clean, dry cloth—do not rub, as this can damage the fabric pile. Periodically check that the metal clips remain tight to ensure the bed base stays stable over time.
