The SuperFish Pond Skim 2000 is an ideal solution for pond owners managing surface debris in water features up to 25m². This floating skimmer utilizes an integrated pump to actively capture leaves, dust, and algae, preventing organic decay on the pond floor and promoting a clearer, healthier aquatic environment; however, users should note that the device requires regular manual cleaning of the waste basket to remain effective during heavy leaf-fall seasons.

The SuperFish Pond Skim 2000 is designed for ponds with a surface area up to 25m².
Depending on the amount of debris, it is recommended to check and clean the basket at least once a week.
It is generally recommended to remove the unit if the pond is likely to freeze to prevent damage to the pump and plastic housing.
No, the Pond Skim 2000 includes an integrated pump, making it a self-contained unit.
The skimmer is designed with a basket that protects against fish entering the unit, but ensure the water flow is appropriate for your specific pond livestock.
Check if the waste basket is full and empty it, or ensure the water level is high enough for the pump to function.
Check that the power cord is not pulling on the unit and ensure there are no obstructions underneath.
Inspect the pump impeller for debris or blockages and clean the intake area.
Setting up the Pond Skim 2000 is straightforward: simply place the unit on the surface of your pond, ensure the integrated pump is fully submerged, and connect the power cable to a GFI-protected outdoor outlet.
For maintenance, lift the top cover of the unit to access the internal waste basket. Rinse the basket under a tap or hose to remove collected debris at least once per week—or more frequently if you notice a decrease in water flow. Inspect the pump intake periodically to ensure no debris has bypassed the basket filter.
