The ThunderX3 TC3 has a maximum user weight capacity of 150 kg (approximately 330 lbs).
How do I adjust the seat height?
Pull the lever located under the seat upwards while seated. Release the lever to lock the height in place. The chair uses a Class-4 hydraulic gas lift for adjustment.
Can the armrests be adjusted?
Yes, the armrests are 2D adjustable, meaning they can be moved up/down and forwards/backwards (or angled, depending on specific 2D implementation) to suit your preferences.
What is 'AIR Tech'?
AIR Tech is a feature that combines a pinhole design with premium nonwoven materials and foams to enhance air circulation and breathability, helping to keep you cool during long sessions.
Does the chair come with lumbar and headrest pillows?
Yes, the ThunderX3 TC3 includes adjustable head and back cushions (often referred to as lumbar pillows) for personalized comfort and support.
What is the rocking function and range?
The rocking function allows the chair to tilt backward in a controlled manner. The rocking angle for the TC3 is between 3 and 18 degrees.
What material is the chair made of?
The seat and backrest are upholstered in premium leatherette with a carbon fiber-style pattern. The base is made of durable nylon, and the frame is constructed from steel.
Troubleshooting
Chair is wobbly or unstable.
Ensure all screws are fully tightened, especially those connecting the backrest and armrests to the seat. Verify the gas lift is securely seated in the base and the seat mechanism.
Gas lift not holding height or lowering unexpectedly.
Check the Class-4 gas lift is properly seated. If the issue persists, the gas lift may need replacement.
Armrests feel loose.
Confirm that the armrest screws are completely tightened. Some 2D armrests may have slight inherent play, but they should not feel detached.
Backrest doesn't recline or is stiff.
Check the recline lever and mechanism. Ensure no obstructions are present. If stiffness persists, contact customer support.
Wheels are not rolling smoothly.
Clean the nylon casters of any debris, hair, or dust. Ensure they are properly inserted into the base sockets.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Assembly of the ThunderX3 TC3 is designed to be straightforward, typically requiring basic tools (often included) and following a step-by-step manual. Key steps involve attaching the armrests, backrest, seat, and base, followed by installing the gas lift and casters. Ensure all screws are securely tightened.
Compatibility:
This is a universal gaming chair designed to fit most users within its weight capacity (up to 150kg). It is compatible with standard desk heights and gaming setups. The 360-degree swivel and adjustable height make it adaptable to various user preferences and workstations.
Care:
To maintain the chair's appearance and longevity:
- Cleaning the Upholstery: Wipe down the synthetic leather with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the material. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Frame and Base: Dust the nylon base and steel frame regularly with a dry cloth.
- Mechanism: Periodically check that all screws and bolts are tightened. Lubrication of the mechanism is generally not required but consult the manual if any stiffness occurs.
- Casters: Clean the wheel casters to ensure smooth movement; remove any debris like hair or threads.
