Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
Upon first use, pump the dispenser a few times until the product begins to flow. Ensure your skin is clean and moisturized before application.
Compatibility
- Primers: Compatible with most water-based or silicone-based primers. Using a primer specifically designed for longevity or oil control will enhance the foundation's performance.
- Concealers: Works well with both liquid and cream concealers. Apply foundation first, then target specific areas with concealer for a truly flawless finish.
- Setting Powders/Sprays: Highly recommended for extending wear and ensuring a completely matte finish. Pair with a finely milled translucent setting powder or a long-lasting setting spray.
- Skincare: Ensure any serums or moisturizers are fully absorbed into the skin before applying foundation to prevent pilling or streaking.
Care and Storage
- Storage: Store the foundation bottle upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid leaving it in a car or near a heat source, as this can affect the product's consistency and longevity.
- Hygiene: Always apply foundation with clean hands, brushes, or sponges to prevent bacterial contamination.
- Cleaning Applicators: Regularly clean your makeup brushes and sponges with a gentle cleanser to remove product buildup and maintain hygiene. Dirty applicators can affect the foundation's finish and cause breakouts.
- Shelf Life: Check the PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging, typically indicated by a number followed by 'M' (e.g., '12M' for 12 months). Discard the product after this period, even if there's still product left, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
