Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, proper installation is essential. Always clean your disc rotors with a dedicated brake cleaner before installing new pads to remove any existing residue or contaminants. After installation, it is critical to perform a proper bedding-in procedure by executing a series of controlled stops from moderate speed to transfer a thin layer of pad material onto the rotor surface. For maintenance, keep the braking surface free of oils, greases, and cleaning agents. If the brakes become contaminated, it is best to replace the pads immediately, as the high-performance compound can absorb impurities that degrade stopping power.
