A driver is essential for converting mains voltage (240V AC) to the low voltage (12V DC) required by your kitchen lights. Our drivers are designed to be efficient and ensure maximum brightness while conserving energy. Each light has a specific wattage rating, and the included driver matches this to ensure seamless operation without the risk of overloading. Understanding Ports on the Driver: Each driver features multiple ports to accommodate your lights. For example, if you need to connect 4 lights, you will require a driver with at least 6 ports to ensure all lights can be connected safely. Our kits come pre-configured to make installation easy and hassle-free. If you need additional lights, simply purchase more kits or individual lights as needed. Transform your kitchen with this easy-to-install LED lighting kit that combines style, efficiency, and functionality. These lights are designed to be surface mounted under/inside a cabinet. First things first, decide on a position for the lights to be installed and drill a small hole (10mm) for the fittings cable to be fed through. This hole should be just behind where the light is fitted. The light is split into 2 parts, a mounting bracket and the light itself. Mount the bracket to the underside of your cabinet / unit with the 6x supplied fixing screws. The light then sits into the bracket and is held magnetically. Not only does this make them easy to remove for cleaning but it only gives you a completely screwless design ensuring an on-trend and modern finish. Now connect the lights to the driver, one light per port. Each light has a 1.5m long cable that connects to the driver but this sometimes isn't long enough for your install. If not, we also sell a 2m and 5m extension cable, perfect for longer runs from the light to the driver. The most popular location to install a driver is above the wall units. This ensures the driver is out of sight but easy to access if required. Alternatively, the driver is slim so depending on the depth of your service gap, you can install the driver behind your carcasses. Features: Ultra Slim Each fitting has a depth of 6.5mm and once installed, will barely be visible depending on the pelmet that you have. However, if this is seen, you can be confident that a sleek and modern fitting will be on show. As they are surface mounted, they are incredibly easy to install, no cutting or recessing required. LED Technology Each light features a diffused cover that mimics the appearance of a halogen cabinet with no visible LED points or spots. This ensures that your worktops / unit interiors are adequately and evenly lit. Each bulb will last for over 30,000 hours and on average, will last 16 years.
