How do I clean the midnight blue finish?

Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals to protect the painted finish.

Troubleshooting

Drawers are not closing smoothly

Check for any obstructions within the drawer runners. Ensure the drawer is properly aligned and not overloaded. Clean the drawer runners with a dry cloth.

Unit feels unstable on the wall

The unit may not be adequately secured. Re-check and tighten the wall fixings, ensuring they are appropriate for your wall type and properly installed. Consult a professional if unsure.

Water pooling in the basin

Ensure the basin waste is correctly installed and not blocked. Check that the basin is draining properly into the waste pipe.

Finish appears dull or scratched

Clean with a soft, damp cloth only. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools. Minor scratches may be difficult to remove from a painted finish.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhances space perception in smaller bathrooms due to its wall-hung design.
Provides ample storage with two deep drawers for organizing toiletries and essentials.
The soft-close mechanism adds a touch of luxury and prevents noise.
Durable construction with moisture-resistant materials suitable for bathroom conditions.
Modern and stylish midnight blue finish complements contemporary decor.
Easy to install as it comes pre-assembled.

Cons

Basin tap and waste are not included and must be purchased separately.
Wall-mounting requires appropriate fixings suitable for your wall type, which may not be included.
The 800mm width may be too large for very compact bathrooms.
Only a single tap hole is pre-drilled, limiting tap options to mono mixers.
Requires careful consideration of plumbing access behind the unit.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

The Nuie Arno vanity unit is supplied rigid and pre-assembled, significantly simplifying installation. Ensure you have the correct wall fixings suitable for your wall type (e.g., plasterboard, brick) as these are not supplied with the unit. Mount the unit securely to the wall at your desired height. The ceramic basin attaches to the vanity unit, and then a compatible mono basin mixer tap (sold separately) is installed into the pre-drilled single tap hole. Connect the waste (sold separately) to the basin and then to your bathroom's plumbing.

Compatibility:

Taps: Compatible with mono basin mixer taps only, due to the single pre-drilled tap hole.
Waste: Requires a standard basin waste, typically a click-clack or plug-and-chain type.
Plumbing: Ensure your existing or planned plumbing can accommodate a wall-hung unit.

Care:

To maintain the satin midnight blue finish, wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the painted surface. For the ceramic basin, use a mild, non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and rinse thoroughly with water. Regularly check wall fixings to ensure the unit remains securely mounted.
