Yes, they are designed to be cleaned and reused for multiple seasons if handled with care.
Yes, provided the heat mat does not exceed 48°C.
Each cell measures 36mm x 36mm at the top.
Yes, they can be used outdoors, but they should be kept in a sheltered area protected from heavy wind or extreme weather.
For best results, use a fine-textured seed starting compost rather than standard heavy garden soil.
Open the adjustable air vents further or remove the lid briefly to allow excess moisture to evaporate.
This is usually a sign of insufficient light. Move the tray to a brighter location or provide supplemental grow lights.
Reduce watering frequency and increase ventilation through the dome vents to dry out the surface layer.
Setup is straightforward: align the cell tray into the base tray and add your growing medium. Ensure the base tray is placed on a level, stable surface, such as a greenhouse bench or a windowsill with adequate light.
For care and maintenance, the trays should be washed in warm, soapy water after each use to remove algae or soil pathogens that could impact future crops. Because the material is temperature resistant up to 48°C, you should avoid exposing the trays to direct, high-intensity heat sources, such as placing them directly on top of intense heating mats that exceed these limits. When not in use, ensure the trays are completely dry before stacking to prevent mold growth.
