Setup:
This wallpaper utilizes a paste the paper application method. This means wallpaper paste needs to be applied directly to the back of the wallpaper before hanging. Ensure you have the correct type of wallpaper paste suitable for the material.
- Prepare your walls by ensuring they are clean, dry, and smooth. Remove any old wallpaper or loose paint.
- Cut the wallpaper strips to the required length, allowing for pattern repeat.
- Apply an even coat of wallpaper paste to the back of each strip, following the paste manufacturer's instructions.
- Allow the pasted paper to 'book' or relax for the recommended time (usually 5-10 minutes) before hanging.
- Hang the strips on the wall, aligning the pattern carefully. Use a wallpaper brush to smooth out any air bubbles.
Compatibility:
Suitable for application on most prepared interior walls, including plaster, drywall, and previously painted surfaces. Ensure surfaces are non-porous and free from contaminants. For best results, apply to a primed surface.
Care:
To maintain the wallpaper's appearance:
- Extra Washable: Minor dirt and smudges can be gently wiped away using a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
- Good Lightfastness: The wallpaper is designed to resist fading from normal light exposure.
- Peelable: When it's time to redecorate, the wallpaper can be dry-stripped from the wall, leaving a clean surface for new wallpaper or paint.
