Product Information
Full details
Nikwax Down Proof is a wash-in waterproofing solution designed for down-filled clothing and gear. It enhances Durable Water Repellency (DWR), which protects against rain and condensation, thereby improving the natural insulating properties of down. This treatment helps maintain breathability and optimises performance in cold and damp conditions, prolonging the effective life of your gear. It is easy to use in a washing machine and ensures the treatment penetrates the entire item, including both the outer fabric and the down fill. The DWR develops upon air drying, but tumble drying is recommended for thorough drying. Always follow care label instructions. For best results, clean items with Nikwax Down Wash prior to waterproofing.
