Setup
When introducing Royal Canin Mini Adult to your dog, a gradual transition is key to avoid digestive upset. Over a period of 7 days, progressively mix the new food with your dog's current food:
- Day 1-2: 75% old food, 25% Royal Canin Mini Adult.
- Day 3-4: 50% old food, 50% Royal Canin Mini Adult.
- Day 5-6: 25% old food, 75% Royal Canin Mini Adult.
- Day 7: 100% Royal Canin Mini Adult.
Always ensure fresh, clean water is available at all times.
Compatibility
This food is specifically designed for:
- Small breed adult dogs (weighing up to 10kg).
- Dogs from 10 months of age and older.
It is not recommended for puppies, larger breeds, or senior dogs with specific dietary needs beyond typical adult maintenance.
Care
- Storage: Store the food in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, ensure the bag is securely sealed to maintain freshness and prevent pest contamination. An airtight container is ideal.
- Feeding Guidelines: Refer to the feeding guide on the product packaging for recommended daily portions based on your dog's weight, activity level, and body condition. Adjust as necessary to maintain ideal weight.
- Hygiene: Always wash your hands after handling pet food. Keep your dog's feeding bowl clean.
