To ensure your Hydrangea thrives, prepare the site by digging a hole twice the width of the 3-litre pot and amending the native soil with well-rotted manure or organic compost. It is crucial to verify your soil pH, as this variety prefers non-alkaline conditions to thrive. Plant in a spot that receives full sun or partial shade, ensuring the soil remains moist but well-drained. Regular watering is essential during the first year of establishment, particularly during dry spells in the summer. Mulching around the base in the spring will help retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.
