FAQs

Are these sleeves acid-free?

Yes, all Gamegenic art sleeves are strictly acid-free and PVC-free to protect your cards from chemical degradation.

Will these fit cards with double sleeves?

These sleeves are designed for standard sizing; double-sleeving may result in a very tight fit or difficulty inserting the card.

How many sleeves are in a pack?

Each pack includes 60 art sleeves and one bonus clear sleeve for your leader card.

Can I use these for games other than Star Wars: Unlimited?

Yes, they are sized at 66 mm x 92 mm, which is compatible with most standard-sized trading card games.

Do the sleeves have a glossy or matte finish?

They feature a textured matte back for improved handling and a clear front for optimal card visibility.

Troubleshooting

Sleeves are sticking together during shuffling

Gently fan the deck before the first use or shuffle them individually to break in the matte texture.

Sleeve appears slightly clouded

This is a characteristic of the matte finish; ensure the card is pushed all the way to the bottom to improve clarity.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Excellent shuffle feel due to the matte texture
  • High-quality, durable welds prevent edge splitting
  • Includes a designated clear sleeve for the leader card
  • Acid-free and PVC-free to preserve card condition
  • Highly detailed, vibrant, and borderless print quality

Cons

  • Package size of 60 sleeves may be insufficient for games requiring larger decks
  • Matte finish can slightly mute the luster of holographic cards
  • Specific Star Wars branding may not appeal to players of other TCGs

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, insert your cards carefully into the sleeves, ensuring the card is centered to avoid edge damage. For the leader card, use the provided clear sleeve to ensure it is visible to opponents while remaining safe from wear. When shuffling, use a gentle mash-shuffle technique to maintain the integrity of the sleeves over time. To clean, wipe the sleeves with a dry, lint-free cloth if dust or debris accumulates. Avoid exposing the sleeves to excessive moisture or direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can degrade the matte finish and the vividness of the print.
