The Slumberdown Orthopaedic Pet Bed is designed for dogs needing extra joint support, providing a comfortable and secure haven for restful sleep. Its key benefit is the orthopaedic filling that cradles joints, offering relief for older dogs or those with mobility issues. A minor consideration is the need for regular washing to maintain freshness, though the removable covers simplify this process. Key features include edge-to-edge support, calming fabric, and a washable cover.

The bed uses a specially designed orthopaedic filling that provides dense, supportive cushioning to help relieve pressure on your dog's joints and muscles.
No, only the outer cover is machine washable. The inner orthopaedic filling should not be washed and requires spot cleaning only.
Measure your dog from nose to tail while they are lying down and add 10-15 cm to determine the minimum length needed. Refer to the size guide for specific dimensions.
The bed is designed with edge-to-edge support to prevent sagging in the middle or at the edges, ensuring long-lasting comfort.
While suitable for all ages, its primary benefit is for dogs needing joint support. Puppies may prefer softer beds unless they have specific medical needs.
The covers are made from fast-drying materials, designed to be hung out to dry relatively quickly after washing.
Please check the Slumberdown website or contact their customer service for information on purchasing replacement covers.
Ensure the orthopaedic filling is evenly distributed inside the cover and not bunched up near the zipper track.
Encourage your dog with treats or praise. Sometimes dogs need time to adjust to a new bed. Ensure the bed is placed in a preferred resting spot.
Allow the bed sufficient time to decompress after unpacking. If the issue persists after a few days, contact customer support.
Ensure the cover is completely dry before re-covering the bed. You may need to air it out further or wash it again on a gentle cycle.
Setup: Unpack the bed and allow the orthopaedic filling to fully decompress for at least 24 hours. Place the filling inside the outer cover, ensuring it is evenly distributed. Zip the cover closed.
Compatibility: Suitable for most dog breeds and sizes, particularly those requiring extra joint support. Ensure the size of the bed matches your dog's needs for comfortable sprawling or curling up.
Care Instructions: The outer cover is machine washable. Wash on a cool setting and hang to dry. Do not tumble dry. The inner orthopaedic filling should not be washed; spot clean only with a damp cloth if necessary. Keep the filling dry.
