The Sistema Microwave Soup Mug is an ideal solution for busy professionals and students who need a reliable, portable vessel for heating and transporting soups, stews, or hot drinks. Its primary benefit is the combination of a generous 656ml capacity with a spill-resistant lid, making it perfect for office lunches or quick home meals. While it excels at convenience and durability, users should be aware that the lid clips require careful handling to maintain their integrity over long-term daily use.

Yes, all Sistema food storage containers are made from high-quality, BPA-free materials.
Yes, the soup mug is top-rack dishwasher safe.
The lid clips are designed to be left open or partially unlatched during microwave heating to allow steam to escape.
While it is microwave-safe for heating liquids, it is not intended for boiling water from a cold state for extended periods.
The lid is spill-resistant when the clips are properly engaged; however, it is not intended to be fully airtight under significant pressure.
No, this product is strictly for microwave use only and should never be used in a conventional oven.
Check the rim of the mug for any dried food debris that may be preventing a flush seal. Ensure the lid is centered correctly before engaging the clips.
Soak the container in a mixture of warm water and baking soda for several hours to neutralize odors and lift light stains.
To ensure the longevity of your Sistema Soup Mug, always engage the clips firmly before moving the unit. When using in a microwave, unlock the lid clips to allow steam to escape while heating. The mug is dishwasher safe, but placing it on the top rack will help preserve the clarity of the plastic over time. While the material is durable, avoid using abrasive scrubbers that could cause micro-scratches where food residue might accumulate. The unit is fully compatible with standard household freezer settings and microwave ovens, but it should never be placed in a conventional oven or near an open flame.
