The 'C' stands for Commercial. It indicates that the tire is designed for light commercial vehicles and vans, featuring a reinforced construction to support higher loads.
This tire offers good performance in snow and wet conditions due to its specialized tread compound and asymmetric tread pattern, designed for year-round reliability.
While they offer comfort, these tires are specifically engineered for commercial vehicles. Using them on a passenger car may result in a firmer ride than expected and might not align with the vehicle's intended performance characteristics.
The Comtrac 2 All Season Plus offers over 20% improvement in tyre life compared to previous models, thanks to its optimized tread compound and robust construction.
It is recommended to check tire pressure at least once a month and before any long journeys to ensure optimal safety, performance, and tire longevity.
The load index is 109/107, and the speed rating is S. These ratings indicate the tire's maximum load-carrying capacity and maximum speed capability, respectively.
Check wheel alignment and tire balance. Rotate tires if wear is not severe. If wear is significant, consult a professional.
Ensure tires are properly inflated and have adequate tread depth. Check for any obstructions on the tread. If performance is consistently poor, the tire may be nearing the end of its service life.
Uneven wear can cause noise. Check for alignment issues or debris in the tread. Ensure the tire is not damaged.
The tire may require re-balancing. This is a common maintenance procedure and should be performed by a tire professional.
Setup: This tire is designed to be fitted professionally by a tire service center. Ensure it is mounted on a compatible rim size for the 215/70 R15C designation. Proper inflation is crucial; consult your vehicle's manual or the tire sidewall for the correct pressure, especially when carrying heavy loads. For optimal performance, a professional wheel alignment and balancing are recommended after installation.
Compatibility: The 215/70 R15C 109/107S sizing is specifically for commercial vehicles (indicated by the 'C' designation for Commercial) and vans that require a tire with a higher load index (109/107S). Always verify that this size is listed as compatible for your specific vehicle model.
