FAQs

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The scales can accurately weigh up to 85lb or 40kg.

Does the scale come with a battery?

Yes, a 9V battery is included with the product.

Can the scale display temperatures in Fahrenheit?

The temperature feature is designed for standard air temperature readings; please check your specific unit's display settings.

Are the scales waterproof?

They are water-resistant for use in typical angling conditions, but they should not be submerged in water.

How do I ensure an accurate weight?

Hold the scale by the top hanging bar in a vertical, stable position without letting the fish or sling touch the ground.

What happens if the display shows an error message?

Try turning the unit off and on again. If the issue persists, ensure the hook is not bearing excessive weight beyond the 40kg limit.

Troubleshooting

Display is blank or dim

Check if the 9V battery is inserted correctly or replace it with a fresh battery.

Weight readings are inconsistent

Ensure the scale is held steady and that the hook is not obstructed by debris or the scale casing.

Units are showing the wrong measurement

Use the unit toggle button to cycle through the settings until the desired measurement (KG, LB/OZ, or ST) is displayed.
