Full details
The Atomos AtomX Cast Switching Dock is a modular companion that transforms your Ninja V or Ninja V+ into a 4-input HDMI switcher. It's designed for video creators and anyone who wants to produce broadcast-quality multi-camera programs easily. The AtomX Cast offers flexible control options, allowing you to switch between sources using the touchscreen or physical buttons, which are illuminated for use in dimly lit environments. It can connect to various Full HD sources like mirrorless cameras, DSLRs, computers, and consoles, automatically mixing frame rates up to 60p, as well as interlaced and progressive HD sources. When docked with the Ninja V/V+, it connects via USB-C to your computer, appearing as a high-quality webcam for seamless integration with video applications like Zoom, Teams, and Skype without needing extra drivers. The integrated monitor function utilizes the Ninja V/V+'s 5-inch touchscreen for setup and monitor assist tools, including exposure, focus, and image analysis. Enhance your productions with features like logos, masthead graphics, and lower thirds, with dedicated controls for easy use. It also supports Picture-in-Picture effects, allowing you to display two inputs simultaneously with adjustable size and location. The AtomX Cast can function as a stand-alone switcher or be used with a computer for advanced video work, with the AtomX Cast and Ninja V/V+ handling the heavy processing to reduce computer load. It delivers broadcast-quality video streams to your favorite host, outputs to local displays, digital signage, or video walls, and records in high-quality, edit-ready codecs.
