FAQs
Are these armrests universal?
No, they are specifically designed for select Chiro chair models and may not fit chairs from other manufacturers.
What is the weight capacity of these armrests?
The armrests are ANSI/BIFMA X5.1-2017 compliant, meaning they meet professional standards for strength and endurance under normal use.
Can I install these on a chair without pre-drilled holes?
It is not recommended to modify the chair frame yourself, as this may compromise the structural integrity and void the warranty.
How do I clean the padded surface?
Use a damp cloth with mild soap; do not submerge in water or use harsh chemicals.
Do these armrests come with the necessary hardware?
Yes, they typically include the required mounting hardware for compatible Chiro seating systems.
Troubleshooting
Armrest feels loose or wobbly
Check the mounting screws under the seat and tighten them securely using a hex key.
Swivel function is too stiff
Ensure no debris is caught in the swivel joint and verify the tension screw is not over-tightened.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before installation, ensure your specific chair model is listed as compatible with the AC000046 component set. Setup typically involves using a standard hex key to secure the armrest brackets to the underside of the chair mechanism; always ensure the bolts are tightened firmly to maintain stability. To care for your armrests, wipe the padded surfaces down with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive chemicals or solvent-based cleaners that could degrade the cushioning material. Periodically check that the mounting bolts remain tight after the initial "break-in" period.
