FAQs

Does the table require assembly?

No, the Madison coffee table arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate placement.

Is the granite top sealed?

Granite is a natural stone. While it is durable, it is recommended to apply a stone sealer occasionally to maintain its resistance to staining.

Can this table be used outdoors?

This table is designed for indoor use. Outdoor conditions may cause the metal finish to degrade over time.

How heavy is the coffee table?

Due to the natural granite slab, the table is heavy and stable; we recommend two people lift it if you need to reposition it.

Will the gold metal finish fade?

The burnished gold finish is durable for indoor environments, but it should be kept away from direct, prolonged sunlight to maintain its original color.

Troubleshooting

Wobbling on uneven floors

Use furniture felt pads or leveling shims under the leg that is not making full contact with the floor.

Dullness on the granite surface

Use a specialized granite polishing cream to restore the stone's natural shine.

Minor scratches on the metal frame

A metal touch-up pen or high-quality furniture wax can often mask light scuffs on the gold finish.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate use
High-quality granite construction ensures longevity
Modern, neutral design complements a wide variety of decor styles
Sturdy metal frame provides excellent support and stability

Cons

Granite material is heavy, making it difficult to reposition frequently
Granite requires specific care to prevent staining from acidic spills
Fixed height and dimensions may not suit oversized sectional sofas

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this table arrives fully assembled, setup simply involves choosing your desired location. Given the weight of the granite top, ensure that the table is placed on a level surface.

Care Instructions:

Surface Maintenance: Wipe the granite top with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can damage the stone's finish.
Spill Management: While granite is durable, it is a porous natural material. Wipe up spills—particularly acidic substances like lemon juice, wine, or coffee—immediately to prevent staining.
Frame Cleaning: Use a dry, lint-free cloth to dust the gold metal legs to maintain their luster. Avoid excess water contact on the metal to prevent oxidation.
