The TruConnect 11-Way Terminal Block (MPN: 213922) is an ideal solution for engineers and hobbyists seeking a compact, reliable connectivity option for PCB projects requiring multiple connections. Its 3.5mm pitch and 90-degree horizontal orientation provide a significant space-saving benefit for dense electronic assemblies, though users should ensure their wire gauges remain within the specified 24-18AWG range to maintain optimal contact integrity.

No, the terminal block is designed specifically for 24AWG to 18AWG wire sizes.
The blocks are generally designed for individual mounting, though their 3.5mm pitch is standard if you need to place them side-by-side.
The unit is rated for a maximum of 300V.
Only a standard flat-head screwdriver is required to tighten the terminal screws.
The housing is constructed from flame-retardant material, but you should still operate within standard industrial temperature ratings for electronic components.
While the housing can theoretically be cut, doing so will void safety certifications and may compromise the structural integrity of the unit.
Ensure the screw is backed out far enough to clear the internal wire protector clamp path.
Check if the wire gauge is below 24AWG; very thin wires may not provide enough resistance for the clamp to lock properly.
Verify that the pin header is fully soldered to the PCB and ensure no oxidation has formed on the wire ends.
To install, ensure your PCB through-holes are correctly spaced at 3.5mm. Once soldered, strip your wires approximately 5-6mm to ensure full insertion into the terminal entry point. Tighten the slotted screws firmly, but avoid overtightening to prevent stripping the screw threads. For long-term maintenance, keep the terminal area free of moisture and contaminants. Periodically check the screw tension if the device is subject to high-vibration environments to ensure no loosening has occurred over time.
