Quest Kyolic Garlic 1000mg 45 Tablets Odourless Gluten Dairy Free. Organically grown garlic is transformed to Kyolic via a unique 20 month cold-aging process which triggers a complex series of biological reactions. Alliin, the inactive sulphur-containing compound found in intact garlic bulbs, is converted to compounds including s-allyl cysteine (SAC). This supplement contributes to normal heart, liver and immune function. It is produced from organically grown cloves cold aged for 20 months to produce sulphur containing compounds including s-allyl cysteine and S-allyl mercaptocysteine. It has been shown to lower total and LDL blood cholesterol, improve blood circulation, support healthy blood pressure levels, reduce platelet aggregation and adhesion to blood vessel walls. Aged garlic also has antioxidant actions to enhance immune function, reducing the risk and duration of infections and protecting cells from oxidative damage by free radicals.
